Meet Espresso! This beautiful, colorfully marked Tortoiseshell girl was found outside by a kind person who reached out to Take Me Home Pet Rescue to help find her a forever home where she can lounge inside safe and sound. According to her foster mom, Espresso is super sweet and loves her meals, especially yummy wet food! She is a tiny and petite girl who loves her naps and is fine with a cat-friendly dog, it just might take a little while for her to warm up but she will. Espresso likes to sit right next to her foster humans on the sofa and also finds staying snuggled in the cat tree with a view of the outdoor goings-on or in her bed the perfect past time. She also enjoys some play time if prompted. She is an easy-going beauty. Her estimated birth date is November 25, 2017. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only.

All applications are submitted to an adoption board for approval to ensure a happy forever home for both owner and pet. In effort to reduce the possibility of the pet being returned, adopters are carefully screened to be sure that the personality of both the pet and adopter are a good match. We will be in contact with you during this process.

Puppies are ready to go home after their 2nd of 3 shots and spay/neuter are complete. A $50 deposit will hold the puppy of your choice. The 3rd. shot is included in the adoption fee.

All pets are to be kept as indoor, non-working, members of your family and are spayed and neutered before being adopted. These pets also receive all appropriate vaccinations and are microchipped.

A safe pet home visit is included in the adoption fee.

Take Me Home Pet Rescue is a 100% nonprofit organization committed to reducing the homeless pet population by removing dogs and cats from shelters and other unfortunate situations and having them spayed, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before being adopted to their forever families.

We consists of a small core group of volunteers who care about the welfare of our homeless pets. We are located in Richardson, Texas and survive solely from your generous donations and fundraiser's (after fundraiser...after fundraiser!). All of our pets live in our homes as we do not have an actual facility. Because they live within the dynamics of the foster families and are exposed to children of all ages and other pets, we find that that our foster cats and dogs are more adoptable as they have already been socialized to live in a family environment.

We have been in existence since April 2008 and have already rescued over 600 dogs and cats from local kill shelters and other unfortunate situations.

All dogs and cats are spayed and neutered before being adopted. These pets also receive all appropriate vaccinations and are microchipped. In effort to reduce the possibility of the pet being returned, adopters are carefully screened to be sure that the personality of both the pet and adopter are a good match.
