My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Summer.  Female approximately 5 yrs old, 14 pounds.  A darling long haired Chihuahua.

Very sweet but does get her feelings hurt easily.

Skittish, reserved and does not easily come to you,

She takes her time to get to know you, and trust is a major factor.

She will nip if provoked.  So must be handled with soft touch and voice.

Separation anxiety, so a single family home is what she needs.  Summer loves contact both by human and other dogs.  No cats!

Full of energy and loves to play with toys and playmates.  CBD and Rescue Remedy helps her stay calm.

Loves to go hiking with family, needs lots of room to run and play everyday.

Great appetite, food motivated, but can easily gain weight.

Excellent health, grooming is a MUST (fur must be brushed every week)

Summer is potty trained, walks great on leash, needs plenty of exercise, easily get bored.

Super smart, minds well, knows safety and general commands.

Loves her humans, foster siblings, lots of cuddle and lap time
