My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jace is a 6-7 year old delightful yorkie who weighs 13 lbs. He is blind but that does not stop him from enjoying life. Jace is good with other dogs and cats. He is crate trained and learning basic commands. He is very smart and gets around the house well. He uses soft stairs to get up and down to the couch. He is very lovable and his favorite thing is eating. He has a potty schedule. Gets along with others and grunts at the cat lol

His favorite things to do are eat, eat, snuggle, and did I say eat . I have a routine and stay with it. I sleep in bed usually under the covers. I wake up and go outside for potty come in eat go back outside for another potty. Then I find my way to the couch and use stairs to get up there. Lay there until grandma gets up then I sit by her chair waiting for some of her toast. I am potty trained but you have to know my language. Very sweet and loving boy.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
