My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET SPOOKY

Spooky is a 3 year old male domestic shorthair. Contrary his name, he’s not a very spooky cat at all, he’s a sweetie who loves to cuddle all day and night. He’s a certified lover boy who is ready to find his forever family.

Spooky is shy at first, and prone to hiding when he first meets a new human. He has been with us for over a year now, and he’s longing to find that special someone who can be gentle and patient with him. We know that it can be hard to adopt a cat who is so shy at first, but we are hopeful that someone will give him the chance he deserves! Despite his shyness at first, once he warms up, he flourishes into quite the cuddle bug.

Spooky is a quirky little guy with a signature move, “the Spooky Flop”. Whenever he wants love (which is pretty much all the time), he will waltz right on over, and flops over with all his little might. He’s not a subtle guy, and we love that about him. He will sometimes be seen sitting with his elbow up on something, as if he’s a human sitting at a bar waiting on his drink. No idea why, but we love how silly it looks.

Spooky has great litter pan habits, and uses a scratching post. He would do best in a home without dogs or small children. He does well with other cats with a slow introduction. He is currently being housed with another foster, Chico, and they are good buddies! Spooky can be adopted solo, or with his friend Chico.

Spooky's Adoption fee is: $120
This includes Spay/Neuter, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, FELV/FIV Testing, pyrantel dewormer and microchip.

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption tables on the weekends at Petco at Pet Supplies Plus locations. Please follow us on facebook for event dates and times.

Once your application is approved, you can also meet our cats one on one with our volunteers at one of the Petco or Pet Supplies Plus locations.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer, foster based rescue. Our cats/kittens are socialized in a home environment, and we get to learn their true personalities to fit them with their perfect forever home.

We do adoption tables/events on the weekends, and are happy to set up any meetings with our available cats/kittens during the week to approved adopters.

We do ask for your patience as our volunteers do have full time jobs as well as volunteering, but we think our adoptees are well worth the wait.
