Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Mandala! This handsome boy made his way to Animal Friends through our Humane Investigations department - through no fault of his own, Mandala has spent the last several years waiting for his court case to clear. Mandala is looking for an adult-only, single pet home - and his ideal adopters should not live in communal housing and understand he should not go to dog parks, to help him avoid other dogs and be his best self. Mandala is also currently undergoing muzzle training and is doing an incredible job with it! Since Mandala has been with Animal Friends for a few years, our staff and volunteers have learned a lot of sweet but goofy information out about him - more specifically how he loves having his face massaged to help him fall asleep but also how he gets the zoomies that replicate a tornado.
This 60lb boy is also a part of our Foster-To-Adopt program, which means for 4 weeks our trainers here at Animal Friends will work with you and Mandala on his behavior and training within his new home to help him acclimate.
This dog is also a part of our Rosie's Rule program. Animal Friends has teamed up with Fi Smart Dog Collar to provide GPS-enabled dog collars for Animal Friends’ canine residents who are at an increased risk of becoming separated from their handler and not being safely reunited. These dogs may startle easily, have had a lack of human socialization or attempt to flee or hide in unfamiliar settings. Once outfitted with a Fi collar, Rosie’s Rule dogs will keep their collar through adoption along with a one-year subscription to the Fi App – at no cost to their new family.
Mandala is one of our Extra Loved residents. Although all our resident animals get plenty of love, many of them come from backgrounds where they may need a little extra care, extra attention, and extra patience. To help this special resident find their adoptive home, a generous donor has sponsored their adoption donation, to help them feel extra loved!
