Pepper!

Meet Pepper, a loving and happy 2.5 year old, approximately 50 pound Shepherd mix! Pepper has had a difficult young life but it doesn't dampen her enthusiasm for play, being outdoors, and loving her foster family. She is loyal and loves to be around people, she will sit in your lap and is always ready to show affection. Pepper is good with other dogs and children, though her happiness sometimes leads to jumping. She is completely house broken and knows several commands. She is a fast learner who responds well to a stern voice when she's doing something she shouldn't be.

True to her breed Pepper is highly energetic, enjoying multiple long walks a day especially in the outdoors and she always has enough energy left over for play. She is currently working on her leash pulling and reactivity but would benefit from a family who invests the time and effort into a proper training regime. Experience with the breed or similar is desirable for her adoptive family.

Pepper is currently being fostered in Long Valley, NJ. Her adoption fee is $425.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
