My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CoCo is 3 years old, as of 2/6/2024. This girl absolutely adores people and children. She has been in a home around small children, and absolutely loves them. She is the Queen of the house and any dog with her needs to be very submissive. She may be best as an only dog as she wants her humans all to herself. She is not a cat fan either. This girl is leash trained (loves walks), knows basic commands, will catch her treats in the air, loves, loves toys and is house and crate trained. CoCo is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines, flea and heartworm prevention. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
