My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CoCo is 3 years old, as of 2/6/2024, is a great family dog. She is a Shepherd/ Carolina dog mix. She has been in a home around small children, and absolutely loves them. She gets along with dogs that are submissive, so she would probably do best in a home as the only dog. She loves to go on walks and is leash trained. She is crate and house trained. CoCo knows basic commands and is always ready to play with her humans. CoCo is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
