My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Esther is an absolute sweetheart that enjoys being around and observing people. She enjoys wet food with gravy, full face rubs, inner ear rubs, drinking out of the faucet, crinkly toys with catnip sewed into them, straight up catnip, finding the container of catnip, and playing with the container of catnip. She also enjoys hanging out in the middle of doorways, following humans around, staring out of windows, and hissing at cats that smell her butt. She loves finding the comfiest spot in the house to nap which may be on your pillow, on your pajamas, or on the laundry you forgot to fold. She doesn't snuggle much but loves to be close enough for some chin scratches. Sometimes during the full face rubs, Esther will grab your hand with both paws and start licking your hand. It's adorable!

She's only recently started playing with her foster person with a wand toy. Esther has been mostly doing solo play followed by zoomies. She'd be most at home in a low energy household. When it gets busy or loud, she'll find a new hiding spot and you think you've lost the kitty! You'll later find her behind a curtain, in the bathtub, or in a bookcase.

Esther has an autoimmune disorder called Immune Mediated Haemolytic Anemia (IMHA) that requires a steroid pill called prednisolone every other day. She likes them crushed up and mixed with Churu treats during a wet food feeding. She may be okay in a house with other cats. Please Note - Esther is doing very very well on her medication! And it only costs around $15 for a month's supply.
