Walk into the room and you'll be met with one of two things: either Freya is purring very loudly, pleased at your presence, or she is unphased entirely.
Freya is a very affectionate lap kitty who is also wildly independent. She will snuggle up in your lap or on your chest while you work or watch tv or sleep, but she'll also entertain herself by watching out the window in a high up perch. She is of the firm belief that human hands are for petting her and feeding her, and that is all.
Freya has beautiful orange stripes throughout her brown tabby body, showing that torbie coloring. She will gladly show you her belly for belly rubs where you can also see more orange striping. She'll let you trim her nails while politely licking you and pushing her head into your hand to ask you to stop.
She is in a foster home with two cats and an elderly, small dog, and would be very happy to be a single cat or with a low energy cat. She is playful, but prefers to play with her humans and her toys than with other cats. She is a people cat through and through.
Freya does have a wonky eye and a limpy leg, but she can see perfectly well through her scraped up snow globe lens. She can walk and jump just fine! There's nothing holding this noble girl back!

TippedEars is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose purpose is to combat cat overpopulation through humane TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). By reducing the overall cat population, fewer cats will need to be euthanized in shelters for space, and there will not be as many kittens dying on the streets. There are not enough adoptive homes to support the growing cat population. In order to solve this problem, TippedEars believes it is essential to fight the root of the problem – prevent the excess of kittens born each year. Humane TNR is the most effective solution to solving cat overpopulation in our society and improve each cats' quality of life. While in our care, community cats will be sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and flea treated.
Orphaned or in danger kittens will be taken off the street and brought into foster homes. These kittens we will look for adoptive furever homes!
