Meet Torenia! Torenia is a super sweet and mild mannered lady born late 2022. Torenia was pregnant and scared when dumped in a strange area in the July Texas heat. Luckily she found a shady spot behind a shed and a good samaritan found her and got her to the vet. Once at the vet, she was found to be severely malnourished and unfortunately her babies did not survive. During her recovery her foster was able to see what a lovely personality she has.
She can be shy at first, but will warm up nicely if acclimated slowly. She is learning cat behavior and needs someone that will practice patience with her. She gives thanks for her wet food by nuzzling your hand every single time. She needs a human she can trust again. She does play by herself, but enjoys playing chase with the other kitties. She would do well with a playmate about her age or a human that can give her plenty of playtime. She isn’t a fan of dogs.
