Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Okay...this pig is amazing! She is the first one to run up to us at the barn, and she LOVES belly rubs. Just reach your hand under her belly and start scratching, and she will flop over on her side to enjoy the attention! Swinona Ryder is about 2 years old and weighs about 200 pounds. She gets along with the other pigs in our care. Swinona Ryder is ready to find her forever home where she will be treated like the star she is! Email adoptions@ashevillehumane.org to inquire about adoption!

More about this shelter
Asheville Humane Society is about hope, not heartache. As Buncombe County’s critical safety net since 1984, we are always here to save and protect every animal. We have mastered the art of saving lives within our walls and now we are going even further, helping our community’s pets and their people thrive together. We are going beyond a no-kill community to ensure that each animal has the quality of life they deserve – a life worth living.
