My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow! My name is O'Malley and I'm the sweetest little guy ever. Despite growing up in an animal testing laboratory where I was used as a test subject, I haven't let my painful past break my spirit! Most people don't know that animal testing involves experimentation on sweet kitties, like me, and dogs, too! Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I'm here to show the world how loving laboratory surviving animals are, no matter what we've been through. I am one of the most affectionate cats you'll ever meet. I can't wait to find a home where I can get lots of love and cuddles! I also love to play with toys, even though I never had any before I was rescued. I would love to have another kitty friend in my forever home that will play with me, too! I hope an adopter notices me soon... I am so deserving of the forever home of my dreams after all that I've been through. I promise to be the most loving best friend for my adopter! Could you be my forever family?

My location: NOWATA, OK

Additional adoption info

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
