Interested in an adorable challenge? Then please meet Mildred, a cute, sassy, very healthy 12-year old Calico whom her foster mom adores and would love to adopt. Problem: Mildred does not like other cats and foster mom has 3. Mildred had some tough experiences before being welcomed into Kitty Revolution's foster system. However, through time and patience, she has evolved from one tough kitty to a cat who will sometimes lay on her foster mom's chest and rub faces, lay by her foster mom's feet, share her foster mom's chair and lap, and who frequently taps her foster mom with her tail to let her know she's happy. With her independent personality, Mildred needs to be the one to initiate the above displays of affection although she likes being lifted up into the air and hugged from behind.
For Mildred to be happiest, she needs a couple of things: An experienced cat person who can read her body language; no other pets in her home; her very own space to retreat to like a second bedroom since she enjoys relaxing in her own place; being able to look out windows since sitting in window sills and watching the world go by is one of her favorite things to do. Mildred enjoys playing with her toys with her foster mom. She loves treats, rotisserie chicken, and catnip. She enjoys walking through her home ensuring all is safe and sound before settling down. She is very easy in so many ways.
Although Mildred has come a long way since joining Kitty Revolution, she has one more step to take before becoming her best self - her own loving, patient, all-adult, home where she can finally relax and be the one and only pet.
Mildred is in foster care. Please submit an application or contact our adoption specialists at adoption@kittyrevolution.org to meet her.
