Archie is a young male herding mutt (likely Border Collie, Aussie, etc.) that is ready to rock his way into your world! Archie (FKA: "Red") was found wandering in Texas - likely dumped - with his pal Buck (FKA: "Jughead"). It was hard not to notice this duo - Archie's pal Buck had a plastic container stuck over his head! Archie is loyal and stuck by his friend, both trying their best to survive. Unfortunately, Buck and Archie were too scared to be easily caught. It took an experienced trapper over THIRTY days to catch these two, with Buck somehow surviving against odds with the plastic cat feeder stuck over his head the entire time and Archie sticking by his side the entire time! Not only is Archie incredibly loyal, he is already crate/potty trained, leash trained, and knows some basic commands. Archie has been good around kids, cats, and other dogs. He is energetic and loves to play rough with his dog buddies - so a dog friend that can keep up with his playstyle would be ideal. True to any herder, Archie has energy and smarts, which means he would thrive with a job to do! He is friendly, affectionate, loyal, playful, smart, curious, athletic and loves kisses!
Archie is neutered, current on vaccinations, monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. If interested in adopting Archie, please fill out the adoption application linked below. Thank you!
