Pendleton Indiana - BIO FROM FAMILY - Ellie is a female, 2.5 years old, AKC registered dog that we got from a Saint Bernard breeder (we’ve already contacted them). She is spayed and has no known current medical conditions. She did have two bumps (side and tail) that we had checked to make sure it wasn’t anything serious and they were both benign. We took her to a dog trainer when she was young so her understanding of basic commands is pretty good but sometimes she will be stubborn but that’s part of her charm. Her preference is to be outdoors when playing with other dogs because she can run around. When inside, she enjoys finding a good place to lay down to sleep. Very sweet girl with a big attitude
Finn will be 2 years old in May and is our male dog. He is neutered and we had gotten him from a rescue “Love Pet Project” (we have contacted them but they are only able to take Finn and we are trying to find a home for them to go together) when he was a puppy. He doesn’t have any known medical or physical issues. He really enjoys to be around anyone that will give him some pets or playing with other dogs that he has been introduced to. He also knows some basic commands like sit, down, and stay. Neither Ellie nor Finn are aggressive or territorial with toys or food. Neither of them have any bite history. They will start barking with new people or dogs but it’s them being protective and not aggressive. If you do an introduction with new people, then they will calm down pretty quick. Both dogs are truly amazing pets. The reason that we have decided to find a new home for them is because we can’t provide them with what they need. We have a 1 year old child that the dogs are absolutely amazing with but our priority is to our child. My husband also travels for work time to time and it’s difficult to take care of the two dogs and our baby when he is traveling . We also didn’t fully realize what it was going to take to have dogs of this size and the requirements they need. We realize that we have bitten off way more than we can handle. We truly love these dogs so much but we know we aren’t the right fit for them to have the best life possible. I wanted to reach out to see if you would be able to help us find them a new home. We are able to keep them until they find there forever home (we know most places aren’t able to take them In while they wait ). More photos available and video of them playing.
