My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Richie is a sweet boy who likes to play with other dogs and snuggle with his humans. His foster parents can not get enough of massaging Richie's floppy and soft ears, and Richie has no complaints about it. He is very energetic but also takes long naps, especially while he is cuddling with his human. He loves chewing on bones and playing with squeaky toys. He is very curious, playful, and learns fast! He mastered how to sit to get a treat in 5 minutes of training, very food motivated. His favorite place to sleep is under the blankets next to a human body, and he also stays in his crate for the whole night. Occasionally expresses his protest by whining briefly, but assuring sounds from his foster mom sleeping in the same room is enough to put him back to sleep. Being curious, smart, and energetic makes him a skillful escape artist, so he needs a contained backyard and alert owners for the front door. He enjoys and walks very well on the leash. He is very determined to take a toy from his big foster sister's mouth and smart enough to let it go if his sister gets mad about it.
