Meet Lobo, a lively 2-year-old terrier with a zest for life and a boundless energy that keeps him on the go. Weighing in at 17 pounds, Lobo came to CAMO as an owner surrender due to housing issues, but he's ready to find his forever home where he can thrive. Lobo's favorite thing in the world is being outside, where he loves running around the yard and going for walks. He does great on a harness, making him a fun and easy walking companion.
Lobo keeps his kennel clean and appears to be house trained, though would need to learn your routine. With his high energy levels, Lobo would do best in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and playtime. He thrives most on human interaction, and although selective, he does enjoy the company of some dogs. He seems fine with cats.
When Lobo gets excited, he can be playfully nippy, but he's never bitten anyone and is just looking for someone who understands his spirited nature. Lobo was previously heartworm positive but was treated and has since tested negative. He received a ProHeart 12 injection and won't need to start monthly prevention until May 2025, giving his new family peace of mind.
With patience, training, and lots of love, Lobo will make a fantastic companion for the right person or family. He's ready to bring his lively spirit and affection to his new home.
Adoption fee is: $150
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
