My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bindy is a real sweetie with a heart of gold and eyes to match! She's very easygoing and friendly, and she'd love to be your companion for any activity. Love sitting on the couch and watching TV? Her ideal activity is napping in the same room as you! Love hiking and climbing? She does great on trails, scrambles over big rocks with ease, and will happily chill out under a tree while you climb. No matter the activity, she just loves to be involved and spend time with her people.

She uses her big girl bark when for strangers at the door, but she'll quickly wag her tail and go back to being a sweetheart who wants cuddles once we let them in. She's very affectionate and loves belly rubs (and will let you know she loves them with her adorable "groaning old man sounds"), while never being demanding or aggressive about needing attention. She's just grateful for whatever attention you want to give, and will wag her tail if you even look at her!

While she's very happy to be a couch potato most of the day, she loves to play tug-of-war and fetch/chase outside in the evenings. For those that enjoy training sessions, she's eager to please, and responds very well to praise - she can sit and lay down on command, and she's working on her leash manners. She's also very housebroken, has great behavior in a crate, and doesn't chew things she shouldn't.

She's a very good and well-behaved girl through and through, and she's just so happy and grateful to love and be loved. If you're looking for an "easy" dog to keep you company at home, this is the one!
