Fresca has completed their heartworm treatment and is ready for a new home

Fresca is approx 18 months old and 55 lbs, she’s a really pretty dog and well behaved ,she loves to sit out in the yard and wait for the squirrels to run by ,she is house and leash trained, her Dna results show quite the breed mixture with her being 34 per cent Siberian Husky and multiple small percentages of other breeds , she’s a sweet girl and does need a fully fenced in and secure yard ,
OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require experienced dog owners only.


The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Our application is online at

We require all adopters to fill out an initial application so that we can check references. We try to match our dogs with a family that fits the needs and individuality of our homeless pets. We work tirelessly to find the right homes with people who will love their pets for a lifetime. We do this through email, phone, and any other means of communication to ensure a good fit.

All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog in their residence until it is adopted. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care.
