Archie is an adorable shih tzu chiweenie mix who looks like a real, live teddy bear! He is 2 months old and loves to snuggle and hang out with his people. Right now he weighs almost 4 pounds, but we expect he will get to be between 15 and 20 when fully grown. He is lightly shedding, and getting good at using the pee pads.
Personality wise, Archie is a total momma's boy. He is the largest and neediest of the litter and cries if he is left alone too long. He would love another young dog to play with in his home. (Right now he is with his siblings, Betty and Veronica) and would definitely benefit from a family where someone will usually be home with him. He is up to date on all medical but adopter will need to neuter when he is 4-6 months old. (A deposit will be taken and returned when Archie is neutered).
Applications to adopt are available at www.chesed-rescue.org. Strong preference for home owners. Adoption fee is $600.
