My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don't judge a book by its cover!  Bernice is a loving and friendly shih tzu girl who came into rescue so matted that we had to shave her down.  She is a little embarrassed by her current look, hence the lack of photos. The vets believe she is 2-3 years old and we are getting her up to date on all her routine medical needs.  She is very easy going, great with everyone she meets and a good friend to the other dogs in her foster home.  Crate trained and fully housebroken.  She will be an incredible family companion.

Adoption applications are available at www.chesed-rescue.org/adoptions.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for stable homes.
