We love helping senior dogs live out their golden years in a comfortable and loving home!***
Meet Sunny! He is an 11-12 year old senior gentleman looking for his forever home. It has been amazing to see Sunny’s transformation since pulling him from a NYC shelter. He has been started on medications to manage his arthritis and discomfort and he has responded very well to the regiment. He is perky and loves walks and playing. In addition to keeping Sunny comfortable as he ages he does have other medical issues that are being managed with daily medication. We would be happy to discuss his medical needs if you are interested in taking on a senior dog. Sunny is also an intact male and currently we have no intentions of neutering him since we are managing other medical needs.
Sunny is a gentle soul who loves cuddling on the couch and playing with his toys. He gets along with other dogs, kids, and cats. He is also fully house broken. Sunny is left in his foster home freely when his foster family is not home and has not showed any signs of anxiety or being destructive. He truly is a wonderful dog who loves life. He is always happy and eager to greet you with kisses. If you are interested in adopting Sunny or learning more about him please fill out the application on Shelter Survivors website.
