Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Just like the real Ellen DeGeneres, our Ellen D is a sassy, fun-loving lady, and also somehow always up in your business! And luckily, unlike the real Ellen, our Ellen is litter box trained. She also loves to play with cat toys, and she's not picky as all toys are fun to chase! She gets along generally well with other cats, but we aren't fully sure what she thinks of dogs yet! Despite her RBF, she'll make your home that much more special.

Stray Animal Midway Shelter (SAMS) was incorporated in 2010 with our focus being spay neuter assistance. In Noovember of 2013 SAMS purchased property and now operates as a no-kill shelter in Peoria County. We work closely with local and surrounding county shelters and obtain healthy and adoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized for lack of space. SAMS receives no funding from government, state, county or municiple entities and are funded solelyby fundraising and donations. You can help by volunteering, adopting and donating to our cause.
