My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rina!

I had the joy of taking Rina out on an adventure for the day on Thursday and I learned so much about this affectionate medium-sized pup!

Rina loves a leisurely "sniff walk"; walks mostly with a loose leash with minimal re-direction; Rina walks with pep in her step, but loves stop to sniff the grass, the flowers, the air, the curb - really anything!

Good in crowded areas; not reactive to other people, dogs or loud sounds (including the train) on our walk around Vinings Jubilee shopping center.

Super-cuddly and affectionate; she so wants to be your velcro dog, sit on your lap and give you love and affection.

Rina is an expert at fetch! She eagerly fetches and returns toys and will drop on command; loves to give gentle nib-nibs to soft toys. She got the zoomies for a few minutes and then was content to cuddle.

Great car riding companion; she hops right up into the car and was happy to look out the window or curl up for a snooze on the seat.

Non-destructive when visiting my home. She briefly met my resident dog and they were friendly with one another.

Nice smaller size. She's less than 45 lbs and just 3 years old. She would be a good size for an apartment.

Rina is available at Fulton County Animal Services. Click for more information: https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/7e40d16d-c590-4fc3-8abc-2d99a0a16e71?tracking=24741241-7424-4c70-b8bf-758da9bf368a

Rina has been in the shelter for just over two months and has had a very difficult time adjusting. She is fearful and reactive behind her kennel wall and as a result, has been categorized "At Risk", but as soon as she leaves her kennel she blossoms into a lovely and friendly dog who just is longing for her person to love! Rina's front right leg must have been broken at some point in her past and was left to heal incorrectly, but it doesn't seem to bother her at all as she still loves to run and jump around without favoring it. Let's get this darling girl out of the shelter and into a loving home this beautiful weekend!
