Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Gorgeous Nena was with an owner who abused her terribly along with her mother and other sister. The municipality was called and they were given to the care of our sister rescue in Mexico SOS el Arca. After a long legal dispute, we were finally able to bring them to Canada where we hope she will find a perfect home where she will never have to be abused again and have the life she deserves. One with love, hope and free of pain.
Nena was the youngest of the three and showed untreated fractures in her hips and knees. She was found in chains in the back of the house and her fractures had never been attended to. There was nothing we could do at that late stage so it is important for her to develop her muscles so she can sustain her back legs.
Nena is a very shy girl, more shy with men, but if given time she does warm up to them. She is good with children but we recommend children 8+ due to her shyness. She is fully house trained and crate trained and she is a joy to have in a home. She is curious and will poke thinks with her nose to see what they are. She is athletic even with her injuries, and loves the snow and her walks.
Her ideal family would have a fenced in backyard and active. Have experience with the Malinois/Shepherd breed, and be able to spend time to build her confidence and must have patience to overcome her shyness. She tends to bond with one person and will really connect with them.
Nena really does need to have a forever home where she can start to trust someone who she know will never hurt her again.
She gets along very well with her foster brothers and loves to play with many toys at one time which is super cute.
If you feel you would be the right fit for Orly, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/
All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.
NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.
BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
