Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dakota adopted me while I was out on a run. After searching for his previous owner I found out she dumped him because she got pregnant and did not want the responsibility anymore. I do not have the heart to dump him like that, but I also know that our lifestyle does not meet his needs and it would be selfish for us to keep him, in fact our lifestyle does not meet the needs of any dog, we are barely home but maybe 2-4 hours out of the day. Dakota is very very well mannered and doesn’t behave like your typical vocal, destructive out of boredom husky. He has been complimented by groomers and veterinarians about how well behaved he is, and how he isn’t your “typical” husky. He is amazing with kids and people, and doesn’t try to be the alpha with other dogs, we are trying to acclimate him with cats and see how it goes, there is not an aggressive bone in Dakotas body. I prefer an experienced Husky owner. We are very limited in time to find him his forever home, and he will go to a shelter.
