Here's what the humans have to say about me:
On Dec 29 my husband noticed a small cat in our yard. He attempted to approach it but it jumped the fence. That evening it came back and right up to the sliding door. I could tell it was a small kitten and it inhaled the food I brought out. I went back out with a cage and some treats to coax it over to catch him. He was very scared but clearly wanted help. I was able to get him in the cage and saw he had some serious injuries to his tail. We set him up for the night, he was exhausted but I'm sure happy to be out of the cold and we just let him rest. The next morning we inspected his tail and new immediately he needed medical help. We got him to the emergency vet hospital and the prognosis for the tail was not good. The best decision was to amputate the tail so we had them move forward. They confirmed it was a boy, 3 months, only weighed 2.4 lbs. Had fleas, ear mites and round worm. We nursed him back to health and he is now an adorable, playful, happy little boy.
