Meet Fernando! This high-energy pup from Miami-Dade has had a tough journey, but he’s full of life and ready for a fresh start. Fernando loves playing with toys, especially if it involves a little action, but he’s still searching for that special connection that will truly make him feel at home. Water is his favorite thing—he can't resist splashing around or playing with the hose, and it’s one of the few things that really makes him light up with joy. He gets along well with other dogs, which helps him feel a bit more comfortable, but deep down, Fernando longs for a human who can see the love and loyalty he has to offer. He knows how to sit on command and enjoys showing off his skills, but he’s still waiting for someone to truly notice him for who he is. If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion who just needs a little patience and understanding, Fernando could be the perfect fit for you!

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
