Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Gamora! Our roving reporter caught up with her at Big Barn for a Hollywood style interview.
What's your favorite toy, and why do you love it so much?
"Oh my gosh, I absolutely adore stuffies! I don't have a favorite because I love every single one of them equally. They're all just so cuddly and soft, and I can't resist chewing on them.
Can you describe your perfect day?
"This one is easy...peanut butter kongs on repeat, playtime with my doggy friends, unlimited stuffies to chew and the freedom to dig my way to China! Of course I'd love to wind down with some snuggles and belly rubs. Life doesn't get any better than that!"
Are you a fan of car rides, or do they make you anxious?
"I'm still working on my relationship with those 4-wheeled things. They're not exactly my favorite right now. When I have to be in one, I usually just lay down and keep to myself because I'm really not sure how I feel about them yet. Maybe one day I'll figure them out, but for now, I'd rather stick to my paws on solid ground!
Do you have a best friend at the Barn?
"I've had a few besties over the months. Obviously, my sister Lylla was my partner in crime. We played our little hearts out every chance we got! As of today, Seymour is my guy. We chase each other all around the play lots and then take turns cooling off in the pool - he's one cool dude. Life is so much fun with great friends!
What do you want people to know about you?
"I'm really shy at first, but once I get to know you, I happily come out of my shell and show you all the bubbly silliness I have inside! I absolutely LOVE tummy rubs-they just might be my favorite. I'll shower you with kisses and give you all kinds of hugs. Being around other dogs really helps me feel comfortable in this big, scary world. Having a companion makes everything better! There's so much to see and learn out there, and sometimes it overwhelms me, but I want to be brave. I'm so excited to meet a family that will be patient with me and help me conquer the world!
