My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome Derek was found walking around aimlessly as a stray in the streets of Central California, ending up at the shelter in Tulare. The REAL Bark decided he was destined to be a Real Barker, and is now in a foster in LA. This social 2 year old, 17 lb boy is good with all dogs, as well as cats, and is both house and crate trained. It appears he was loved in a home before, as he listens well to his people, waits to be invited to the couch, and loves being part of any party. His best fit home is one where he can be interactive with the other pets and the people equally, and has most of the day accompanied by others rather than being in a home where he is alone for many hours at a time. Derek is fully vaccinated and neutered and is ready for the next journey in his young adult life. Please note that we are currently set up to adopt within the Los Angeles county area.
