My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mellow, Friendly, Professional Napper

Meet In Omnia Paratus! Which is Latin for “ready for anything.” And this handsome fellow is ready for a beloved human and a home of his own! He likes to spend his days getting all the beauty sleep he can. His favorite pastime is finding the comfiest lounging spot in the house! Then, once he wakes up from his afternoon nap, he’ll meow to ask where his people are.

While In Omnia Paratus isn’t one to crawl in laps, he’s happy to cuddle with you if you ask! He’s comfortable with being picked up and snuggled, as long as you give him some cheek scratches too! Throw in some belly rubs and he’ll be happy as a clam!

In Omnia Paratus makes friends with every person he meets, including children! He’s a little more neutral towards dogs, but he doesn’t mind living with calmer dogs. He hasn’t yet interacted with other cats in the shelter, but he has shown curiosity towards them.

In Omnia Paratus was born with eyelid agenesis, which caused his eyelids to form improperly. As a result, his eyes can easily be irritated by dust, eyelashes, hair, and anything else that eyelids are supposed to provide protection from. He has had surgery to improve the condition, but will need artificial tears and other meds to keep his eyes well-lubricated and comfortable.

He has big cheeks that he loves for you to scratch and brush. And he has a very cute little bobtail!

The ideal home for In Omnia Paratus would come with lots of warm napping spots and humans who will give him all the belly rubs he wants. If that sounds like you, contact us soon!

In Omnia Paratus has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. In Omnia Paratus can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
