Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet the world's cutest pup, Neera!
Quick Facts:
Breed: Shepherd X
Size: Currently #30 pounds as of February.
Estimated DOB: 8/25/23
I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day or any day for that matter.
Meet Neera, a dog who doesn’t stop smiling.
Her beginnings were a bit rough when she came into the rescue just at 2.5 months old with a need of a surgery after being hit by a car and found running in a middle of a busy road.
She recovered very quickly and bounced back to puppyhood in no time. And we mean literally bounced and she hasn’t stopped yet. She bounces off the couch and after a ball or leaps over obstacles in the yard just to keep with all her housemates in the Olympic sport known as: who can chase that pesky squirrel up a tree.
Neera loves to play with her foster siblings, from tug of war with much bigger dogs, to let me see if I can fit your head in my mouth with smaller size. Male or female, young or old, Neera finds a friend in all dogs.
She’s up for an adventure at any time, from neighborhood walks, to trail hikes and wetting her toes at WWC. She especially loves to visit to a local brewery where she likes to razzle dazzle all the people.
Neera is very curious and active, but that doesn’t stop her from being your faithful companion on the couch. All she needs is a good chew toy and she will be by your side as you binge on latest Netflix series.
Neera is fully housebroken and crate trained, she sleeps in it beautifully though the night and while her foster parents are at work. With the occasional announcement of a delivery or chasing after a squirrel Neera isn’t much of a barker. She is a very vocal player, enthusiastically announcing her joy with current activity.
She does fine with kids, although around toddlers she might need extra supervision due to the fact she is still rambunctious at times and might knock them over.
Neera is well rounded dog, she will brighten the gloomiest of a day, she is very affectionate with her infectious smile, constant kisses and exuberant butt wiggles.
While a household with another dog is not a necessity, we think Neera would thrive in an environment with another sibling, or lots of play dates.
She knows basic commands and is still working on leash training (it’s just so hard when you want to get to next adventure faster than your human can walk).
She has not been tested with cats.
Neera is most perfect pup who would make a wonderful addition to a loving family.
Puppies require training, so Neera is no different. Expect to work to potty train your newest addition as well as work with them on their basic obedience. We highly encourage enrolling your new addition in training courses to teach obedience and socialization skills. Please remember puppies are A LOT of work and are a commitment for life.
