This helps PawSwaP of Greater Lafayette with pet care costs.
Please read entire description. Maizie's adoption fee is waived to an approved applicant. If interested, please apply at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting.
Maizie was a puppy with us in 2018 and has found her way back due to some medical issues in her former family. She is 6 years old and weighs in at about 60 pounds. She is great with people, house trained, crate trained, and trustworthy to be left out with no issues. She adores human companionship and is good with children. She is gentle, knows some basic commands, and just wants a lot of love!
Maizie has not had any experience with cats. She has lived with other dogs in the past and in her previous foster. She does best with non-reactive, tolerant, co-existing dogs. Unfortunately, Maizie seems to be a dog that often gets picked on by other dogs; this is the reason for a recent move into a new foster home. Currently, she is having to spend a lot of time alone and its not ideal! She is going to work with her new foster mom and does great in the office. She does bark for a moment at new people and then settles. Maizie is a terrific girl and in need of a new home or a foster asap! Maizie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is waived to an approved applicant. If interested in fostering or adopting, please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. One application works for all of our dogs.
