Berkeley Robinson is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home!
Berkely is a special girl that will slowly and quietly work her way into your heart. Having spent most of her first year living outside with minimal human interaction she is slowly learning that being inside is pretty nice and humans can be too! Berkeley loves puppies and enjoys romping and playing with them in her foster home.
She requires a fenced yard. She extremely shy and skittish (flight risk at first), but will open up over time once she builds trust and feels safe. Once she trusts you she will come to you for pets and love.
She needs a very patient adopter willing to give her the time to adjust and trust, but it is well worth it. She is incredibly sweet. She will benefit from professional training to help her continue to make progress. Teens and older only, busy kids are too much for her. She'd also prefer a quieter household while she settles in, too many visitors make her nervous.
Berkeley resource guards, an adopter with experience would be helpful.
If you are interested in adopting this dog please complete the adoption application at www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form to become a pre-approved adopter.
If you were already approved through Rhode Home Rescue within the last 6 months, contact us today!
