My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Katydid is a 2-year-old panther kitty with beautiful touches of lightness on the insides of her ears. She is an attentive baby girl, who will follow you around the house just to enjoy your company; preferred seats include beside you, in your lap, behind your head, in your arms, against your shoulder, and presumably anywhere else she can fit and be nice and close for pets, including belly rubs. Do you work from home? Katydid would like to increase your office popularity by guest-starring on your Zoom calls as your Chief Morale Officer. Not just cuddles, she also loves to gift you with tiny little meows when she’s excited for food or, of course, more pets and attention. It’s time for your 2 PM kitty break! Her favorite toys are small, noisy, and toss-able, such as jingle balls and rattle mice, or wand toys she can chase and dance with. While her slightly limited vision does make her a little easy to startle, if you are mindful of this and use your voice so she knows when you’re coming, she will soon feel safe and become very happy and affectionate. Katydid would do very well in a calm home without small children, where she can feel safe and be free to be her perfect panther self.
