Karma is all puppy. Due to her breed mix, she is strong-willed. She is highly food motivated which helps. Because of what appears to us as little socialization with other dogs or perhaps even being taken too young from her mother, her play attempts come off as quite rough, if not full on bullying. For this reason, Karma needs a home without other dogs as she terrifies them.
We don't know about cats, but given Karma doesn't seem to know when to leave well enough alone, that may not be the best idea.
Karma has energy for days, so she needs an active home. A fenced yard is necessary as she loves to chase balls and other squeaky toys, though she also enjoys walks and car rides. In her foster home, Karma appears house trained, though we always expect accidents initially.
Please keep in mind Karma is a severe resource guarder of food, toys, and even her people. This is another reason she really does not need to be in a home with other animals at this time, particularly while training and behavior modification is underway. She will laser in on something and ignore whatever someone is asking of her.
If you are willing to dedicate the time and obedience training to help her be the best dog she can be, please complete our application. Approved applicants should be willing to drive to Karma's foster home with other dogs if they have any given she is more likely to act appropriately in a familiar environment than one that is new to her.
