My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A plea for Artemis- this is a beautiful small lab mix who has lived the majority of his life in a black wire crate. He has been hw treated and can now go on to what he deserves. He needs to find a family- our hearts will be broken if we have to see him in that crate any longer. Someone give him a chance. He is only a year old and under 40 pounds. Please.

He had a meeting with our local Deputies and here is what they had to say;
Artemis is one smart boy! He greeted us by giving us a paw, and he also knows how to sit on command, speak, do a spin, and “smile.” He is crate trained and does fantastic on a leash, although he sticks to your side like the most faithful of sidekicks. Deputy David Carter says Artemis was so much fun to hang out with, and a very good boy. Artemis is just 11 months old, fully vaccinated and neutered, and has the softest black fur that glows chocolate in the sunshine.

You can visit Artemis at St. Frances Animal Center Monday - Friday, 11 am - 5 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11 am - 4 pm at 125 N. Ridge Street, Georgetown.
