Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jett is an absolute gem of a dog! She is a delicate and dainty little lady at just around 50 lbs. Jett is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and cuddly with her humans. She loves to lay on your lap and give you nose boops and kisses. Jett is a 1 year old, natural eared, docked, black and rust girl.
Jett has wonderful manners. She is housebroken, crate trained, does not counter surf, does not have separation anxiety, and is not destructive. She is an absolute delight to have around! She is cautious when in new settings but is willing to follow your lead and is a quick learner. Jett is very motivated by food and treats!
Jett gets along well with other dogs both on and off leash. She is being fostered with a very large, high energy, male Doberman puppy who she has tolerated well, although she'd be much happier with a dog that is a better match in energy, size, and play style. Jett would also be very happy as an only pet. She is a medium energy dog. She has plenty of energy to play when it's playtime, but she settles beautifully in the house and will quickly curl up somewhere comfortable, preferably near you.
Jett is definitely a princess and likes to take the lead around other dogs. She's a great communicator of her boundaries so, if adopted into a home with another dog, would do well with a dog that is intuitive, respectful, and willing to defer to her. She's not a fan of sharing high value resources with other dogs but we've managed this effectively with consistently feeding her in her crate and giving her own space to enjoy high value treats like bully sticks.
Jett is very agile and athletic and loves to run around our backyard at top speed. She enjoys chasing the Frisbee and ball and while she doesn't necessarily bring them right back to you, she easily gives them up for you to throw again.
Jett rides well in the car and actually prefers to sit on the floor instead of on the seats. She does well on leash but can pull if she's really eager to check something out. Jett would love to have a family to call her very own. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
