Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our rescue got Star in August of 2022 after her former owners decided they no longer wanted her after she was used to breed puppies for them. They kept one of her pups and poor Star was going to be homeless. Star was heartworm positive and also had a condition called perianal fistula. Our rescue found a foster home for her and treated her heartworm condition. The perianal fistula condition is an ongoing issue that requires medication, special diet, and vet visits to monitor it. The foster of Star adopted her in Jan 2024. This special dog has been through so much she deserves a loving home and we are so glad she found one.
