Meet Kevin, our once-grumpy guy who has completely transformed! When Kevin first arrived, he wasn’t too thrilled about his new surroundings. But after moving into our main cat room, he’s blossomed into a whole new cat! At around 5 years old, Kevin is now enjoying attention and settling in with his feline neighbors.
Kevin is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but don’t let that scare you. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives with proper care. They can even live with FIV-negative cats, as FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds. Kevin is proof that an FIV+ diagnosis doesn’t hold him back—he’s ready to share love and companionship! He is currently being treated for an eye infection, but he is otherwise healthy! Kevin has started to beg for pets and has really blossomed!
He is fully sponsored, meaning Kevin's adoption fee is $0! All you need is an approved application in order to adopt him. You can apply on our website at EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org
