Meet Lexi! Our beautiful girl is currently in foster so we know lots about her. She is around 9 years old, house trained, knows basic commands, she is food motivated and loves people. She greets people nicely, she has a calm, relaxed demeanor, but also has a playful side. She loves toys, tennis balls, and car rides. She goes to work with her foster mom in an office setting and everyone at the office loves her and says she is so good, they can't even tell she is there. Lexi is looking for a home with older or no kids, and right now she lives in a home with cats, but is separated. Foster mom is taking her time introducing her to them, but she has met them through the gate so far, and ignores them.
If you have any questions you can email her foster mom at konkletony@yahoo.com.

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
