My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruce has been looking for a home for 343 DAYS!!

Looking for a dog that gives REAL hugs?!?!?! Bruce is your guy!!

We picked him up after watching him dodge and weave cars on a busy street, we knew we couldn't leave him there. In order to rescue him, we had to track him for 3 days, eventually cornering him in a carport and catching him with a net.

As soon as we caught him, he melted in relief.

Bruce would do best with someone that loves to cuddle, and dote over their little critters! Bruce does fantastic with other dogs, and loves to be loved, but he needs a slow introduction as he still gets spooked with new people, but warms up quickly.

He does great on leash and in public!

We don’t know how he is with cats, but I suspect due to his sweet, submissive behavior, he would be just fine.

More about this rescue

Handover Rover is a no-kill rescue that focuses it’s efforts on helping animals that are forgotten, left for dead, abused, neglected, chained up, the ones that are in the worst conditions imaginable. We provide a massive amount of free content to help owners train their own dogs, so they don't feel the need to give them up. And we document everything for the public, from training our rescues to our rescue missions.
