Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 2 January 2024 -------- Age at Intake: 6 months ----- Breed: corgi mix ----- Size: 16 lbs ----- Status: found astray ----- Compatible with: Dogs, cats, children. ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard possible apartment with leashed exercise and access to a secure play area ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: mange ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Bing! Handsome sweet boy. Bing came to rescue after being found on a highway eating roadkill with another pup. He was extremely wormy and had lice. We treated those right away but soon noticed his hair falling out and he was scratching himself bloody. He saw the vet and was treated for mange and is on antibiotics. We hope this kills it and then he will be ready for neuter and adoption. If considering adoption, remember, this is an 18 year commitment and they deserve to be a part of their family for the duration. Puppies are not temporary. Bing is a happy go lucky little dude. He is a little food possessive with other dogs which can be expected with what he has experienced but it had been easily corrected and we prefer allowing each dog to have their own space to eat anyway. They deserve the same respect we have at meal time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is prioritized.
