My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟 Brace yourselves for the ultimate canine adventure – meet Indy, the pawsitively thrilling hero in search of his forever home! 🌟

Dumped on the mean streets of Dallas as a wee pup, this dynamic troublemaker, sporting the namesake of Indiana Jones, thought he was the king of epic street escapades. Little did he know, his wild adventures were about to take a heartwarming turn, thanks to the kindness of some vigilant folks who scooped him up and showed them the true meaning of love.

Under the watchful eye and loving care of his foster mom, Indy is not just your average rescue dog – he's practically a pup-tastic prodigy! Crate training? Nailed it. House training? Mastered. Leash skills? Perfected. Indy has gone from street-smart survivor to city slicker with manners so refined, you'd think he's been attending canine charm school!

Now, let's talk about his flair for dramatic expressions – those loud and proud eyebrows are practically a work of art. It's like having your own live-action cartoon characters, complete with the full range of emotions, from the heart-melting puppy eyes to the mischievous side-eye that tells tales of his street-smart beginnings.

Picture this: Indy, rocking a bandanna like he's about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Together you will be a dynamic duo ready to sweep everyone off their feet with your charisma and charm.

Are you ready to be part of the Indy fan club? He's not just looking for a home; he's on the hunt for the ultimate sidekick – could it be you? Join the adventure, unlock the full potential of love, laughter, and a lifetime of fur-tastic escapades with Indy. 🏡🐾 #IndyTakeover #AdoptDontShop

Go meet their pets

I am located east of Dallas, and I have adopted furkids out to places as far away as Connecticut. I make every effort to provide video of the furkid you are interested in, and I provide all pertinent information about personality and hometraining as well. Our kiddos are all fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.

More about this rescue

ARRS has been my dream. We purchased our home and land with rescue and senior sanctuary in mind. We provide senior sanctuary to all breeds and primarily rescue dachshunds and dachshund mixes to place for adoption. It amazing to see the life return to a previously neglected dog's eyes or see her tail wag for the first time. We often have a dog for months before the dog comes out of survival mode and begins to play and actively seek affection. It's quite simply amazing and heartwarming. Be a part of that miracle. Adopt!!!
