My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Salem Saberhagen, soon to be on trial for stealing your heart! Salem had a rough start coming into our care with some skin issues that our amazing vet team has tended to. This wonderful, one would say even magical kitty loves playing with his toys just as much as he loves being the purrfect cuddle buddy and companion! Salem is looking to spend his next 100 years being your new best friend and taking over all aspects of your world. If this bewitching little guy catches your attention and you fall under his spell, WarWALK on over to NHA or send us an inquiry for any next steps.

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed every TUE-THUR from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
