Meet Rocky, a charming brown and black terrier with a perpetual head tilt that adds character to his adorable face. This resilient pup is currently seeking his forever home through adoption. Despite his unique tilt, Rocky is full of energy and affection. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs, and showing promising signs of compatibility with children. Rocky's zest for life is evident in his love for long walks and romps in the dog park, where he eagerly explores and makes new friends. When it's time to unwind, he enjoys relaxing in front of the TV, particularly enthralled by the adventures of Bluey. With his endearing personality and love for companionship, Rocky is sure to bring joy and warmth to any family lucky enough to welcome him into their home.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

Go meet their pets

Meet our pets at the shelter Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm, no appointment necessary!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
