My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Microchipped, DOB January 4, 2018

Lodian is a gentle and tender girl who absolutely loves being pet (chin/head/bum scratches)! She's a queen that knows what she wants and makes sure you know as well. She is vocal when she needs something, be it food or affection. Sweet Lodian shows her affection by migrating to whichever part of the house you're at and settling down near you, just wanting to spend some quality time. She’s not a super clingy cat and gives you your space. Lodian is also very calm while meeting new people and it’s easy to fall absolutely in love with her.

Lodian is very entertaining to watch as every now and then, she will flip over (tummy-side up) to groom her majestic belly. If you look at her during this time, she would stop and look up at you completely startled as if you caught her getting up to no good! She's also the sweetest when she wakes up doing her little stretch and letting out cute meows. Lodian loves watching birds, playing with toys, and chasing the reflection of your phone on the wall on a sunny day (or a well lit room).

Lodian is an overweight cat who is unable to groom her hind end. She needs to be wiped about 3 times a day (whenever she uses the litter box) with a damp paper towel. It usually takes ~15 seconds. However, she is well behaved during this time and doesn’t flinch once she knows you’re her caretaker.

This little girl is full of surprises once she opens up to you and shows all her quirks, which usually takes some time. She's the sweetest gal and whoever is lucky enough to have her join their family will have a wonderful companion.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old).

This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
