DIAMOND IN THE RUFF: Gurdie is a beautiful yellow lab mix rescued from South Carolina with help from our partner Fostering Foster Animal Rescue and support from the Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Rescue. Gurdie is a sweet girl with lots of energy, who tends to be on high alert when she takes her walks. Some would say she has an extreme need for adventure! She is working on her basic obedience and will need continued training. Gurdie loves kids and can be playful yet gentle with all ages. She can be a bit particular about her canine companions at first, but quickly warms up with a wet nose bop and a wagging tail. Gurdie just wants to be by your side and accompany you on life's journey. GURDIES NEEDS: She is a flight risk, meaning she will bolt if she gets the chance - Needs a securely fenced in yard * Needs an experienced adopter * Cannot live with a cat * Selective with dogs * Needs regular mental and physical enrichment*
