My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sherman is a handsome Chocolate Lab mix!

He is a loving dog who has come a long way since we took him as a stray found in the country.

Upon first arrival, Sherman was a super happy pup who loved played fetch. The only issue was he showed reactivity when having his paws touched. Our behavioral vet designed a custom behavioral program that included training and medical treatment and he has done great. Andy Madison with Wet Nose Dog Training did a month long board and train and Sherman has graduated the course and is currently being fostered by Eric and Jane, who are dedicated to finding him the right home! We would arrange for Andy to show Sherman's adopter what he's learned.

Sherman would fit in perfectly with an adopter who is looking for an emotional support dog, someone who works from home, or someone who is retired. He likes men and can be good with women too, but he seems to like men a lot. Sherman could live with another dog, but he does tend to be possessive over his toys and food around other dogs.

Sherman will be a loyal sidekick to anyone who will show the same loyalty to him!

With the right adopter, Sherman will flourish and make a great partner. We are looking for a special person for a special dog. Are you that person?
